So, It's been a while since I started this topic lol. But I've finally fixed it! First I recapped the machine, which improved the sound in several ways but did not get rid of the noise. Then I tried the transistors as suggested above. Replacing the 2SC458s at TR5 (the input transistors) with some BC549s made the machine dead quiet! I love it now it sounds great!
