AK4393 burn...

Two channel of my digi002 is gone, the AK4393 dac chip is death! my error when trying to upgrade the output opamp, i have a few cs4223 chip here, is it possible to replace AK4393 to cs4223 with little modification? Any help will be appreciated...thank you.

Just drop an AK4395 back in, as it's (reportedly) the better chip out of the 4393/95/96 line..!

I think the AK4395 needs a slightly different supply voltage, but the AK4396 should drop right in. 🙂

Here you go :

The AK4396 dac chip is a drop in replacement for the 4393 and sounds much better. The AK4395 sounds even better than that but requires a 5v digital supply.
