Hi!
Following my thread about a simple circuit for the ECC88's, i might give a try to this topology.
But, i have this question:
How do i find the values for the cathode resistor?
Surely it won't be through the loadlines, as this design uses no anode resistors, right?
THe final question:
What formulas do i apply on this topology for finding the values needed with these tubes?
In my opinion, a negative grid bias of 2V would suffice for most applied signals...
Thanks a million!

Hi,
But it would....The top triode is in fact an active resistor so to speak.
On the same site where the Aikido is discussed you'll find plenty of theory on the SRPP in a series of articles called:
"SRPP deconstructed"
Cheers,😉
