I have a Sony DSR-85 DVCAM Recorder. This is no Toy. I bought it from the original ower who pid $15 000 for it. I am really keen with the AD/ DA in this unit. The Video unit itself is big, heavy, loud and KWH insatiable. I would like to pull the converter section from it but am unsure how practical this project would be. The SM is available on the web but is too large to uplad.

Any tips or opinions?
