Does anybody know what is the actual pin configuration for the AES digital output.
Consider the images attached.
The cinema Server from Qube will have AES digital output and which streams all the surround channels in PCM format so I just want to know which pin will actually stream the output.

Google is your friend:

It does depend on exactly which processor you are talking about, but they seem to favour a 26 pin high density D type, presumably just to be annoying. The pinout is in manual.
AES3 typically carries two channels unless it is Dolby E or similar using the non audio mode, but the Qube stuff seems to be standard two channels per circuit.
Regards, Dan.
Nothing to do with I2S. They are AES3? This can be thought of as something like a balanced version of S/PDIF.
