Hopefully I will get a friend to put together a DAC based on the 1541-chip. I need to source a good (and not too expensive) kit however.
I have found at least two sources here on diyAudio:
1) http://www.ecdesigns.nl/
2) http://diyaudio.hk/content/show/1
They seem very good but the first is a bit expensive and the second seem to be out-of-stock.
Other sources I have found are:
- http://www.ecp.cc/diy-audio.html
- http://us.hifidiy.net/
So now I wonder if anyone here could give me some advice as to which kit to choose, and possibly indicate other recommended kit providers. I do not know anything about electronics
but the person who will build does! My original intention was to get a 1541-dac with tube output stage but any recommendations are welcome...

All were good design, but different concept!!!

Different of my DAC was can continous upgrade, thus not need to waste any parts when U upgrade!
Pls go to groups buy area.
