advice on 3M 6100

Hi there i was wondering if anyone can help?

i am have a 3M 6100 panel running on an ohp which is connected directally to the pc with a resolution of 640x480 and it works great the only problem that i am having is that when i watch a film sometimes there seems to be a line apear between frames

i mean in the way that you are watching a film and then just for a second it is as if the panel can't change quick enough to keep up with the film

i'm not sure if the problem just comes from the panel just not being able to change quickly enough or if it is something that i can fix

any input at all would be great

you mean like Tearing? it displays the top or bottom half before the other half? If so, you need to enable vsync somewhere... depends on what software / hardware you use.
If not... bad panel? lol🙂

Hi there cheers for the advice what is vsync

the hardware is a herclues 3D Prophet 4000XT 32meg TV out card

and for software it does not seem to make any difference what applications i use it seems to be like something just can't keep up but the more i think about it the more it seems like the graphics card

I thought that a 32meg would be powerfull enough for trouble free play back or maybe i just need glasses
