Hi all,
I'm trying to connect my PC to the HT amp, have video but no sound. Cable works fine in other setups. PC motherboard is a MSI B85M-E45, HT receiver is a Denon AVR1910. I know, not exactly audiophile, but that's what I have 🙂
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
Gerald

Recent Windows 10 update? It completely messed with several of my drivers until I fixed things up.

Certainly not! Win7, stable since 3 years 😀
Yes, but often a motherboard with HDMI output offers two soudncards - the regular one with analog/digital outputs and another soundcard feeding the HDMI output.

Are you sure your video player outputs audio to the HDMI soundcard, not to the analog one hooked to the Realtek ALC887 codec?
