hello, suppose i use 2 separate transformers for 18-0 18-0, both 30vac, instead of one 60vac transformer same output voltage. any advantage to it? i believes some recent denon amps do this. and maybe old naim?

For the same VA, 1 bigger trans, supposed X=VA, had better regulation factor than 2 little trans, Y=VA/2, where X=2*Y.
For +/-18V outputs, it isn't twice the secondary voltage (60VAC) that is used for comparison. It is twice the secondary current.
So there may be some cost advantage or disadvantage, but as sreten says the audible differences are minimal.

I imagine you mean transformers having 2 x 18Vac secondaries, each rated at 30VA (or W).
In that case, there is nothing to be gained, quite the opposite in fact, unless your amps are really lousy: if you use one transformer/channel, the only aspect that could theoretically be improved is the stereo separation, but it would have to be abysmal in the first place to make any difference, and since two smaller transformers will have a worse regulation than a single big one, high power bass will be more limited.
If you use one transformer for the (+) supply, and the other for the (-) one, it will make matters even worse.
To summarize, separate transformers could only be beneficial if you are an adept of typical audiophiliacs schemes, like crude resistor loaded zero FB SE class A amps.
But if that is indeed the way you follow, you will need more than separate supplies to keep the hum at a bearable level: big, expensive chokes for example.
