I end up with complex schematics with much detail in *.pdf form.
When printing I select 'Print As Image' and 'Fit To Page' options, and this gives fine quality prints on my Canon SX Engine 300 DPI laser printer, however when printing very detailed schematics fine details like device numbers can become too small to read, or turn into gibberish.
Is there a way to print a single displayed page over two or more pages that can then be manually pasted (taped) together ?.
If this requires using a different application program, please tell me which ones.
Thanks, Eric.

I'm sure there are PC apps. that will do this, (not certain, I use a Mac), but surely you could just zoom in to the schema in the four quarters, (or however many it takes), and use a printscreen programme?😉
The other possibility is that your printer driver might allow you to do this, some have the facility to split images accross multiple pages, usually called banner or poster printing.

You can adjust the size of the type that Acrobat will render as actual type, rather than "greek." Click on File/Preferences/General and set the Use Greek Text Below to a smaller size. It may allow you to print smaller type sizes, depending on whether you print driver will accept the setting.

My HP 1220C has a "tiling" feature that does just this. There's also "HPZoomSmart," which would appear to allow one to enlarge an 8.5x11 to a 11x17, or reduce. I haven't used either, so I can't comment on print quality. I would imagine Canon will have at least one similar feature. As a last resort, you could pencil in the numbers on the printout...

Eric,
You can use the graphics select tool, and 'lassoo' off an area of the drawing, print it, then do the same with the other half. If it's not a hugely complex schem, than with a touch of practice it's possible to get the two halves to match quite closely.
Cheers
Hi Brett, thanks.
I downloaded a more recent version of Acrobat and see that I it has this facility.
Ta, Eric.
