Hello, i'm still relatively new to the whole DIY audio thing, so i apologize if this is a stupid question.
Is there any way to lower the SPL of a speaker driver? In a crossover perhaps?
The SPL difference of the speakers i wish to use within the same enclosure is 9dB. Not a very friendly number.
Thanks for any help.

Typically, these days it's built into the XO in a well designed two way due to powerful simming programs that you can load actual measurements into, though in the so-called good old days both fixed and adjustable L-pads were de riguer and still available at Parts Express or similar or you can use an on-line calculator to DIY a fixed one.
