Thanks, saw that, but no date plus it seemed familiar from a much earlier re-boot. Also, the referenced post has an Amazon embedded link to 'subwoofers', but no Adire Audio listed anywhere on Amazon. I'd try the contact link except I nearly got burned for a mega phone bill years ago from a hijacked/whatever site, so leery of taking my chances.
Wish I could find my DW contact number from years ago, but apparently on the bad HD.
Then again, should have done a bit more research before posting since I just found current drivers available at Madisound for drop ship from Ca., though way pricier than just from inflation since ~'99 or whenever they came out, so maybe priced out of the market since there's currently precious little on the net: Adire Audio Shiva ADSH12D4 12" DVC Subwoofer

I used to have an RE XXX 12" and that thing was a bad mo-fo! I still kick myself in the **** for selling it! Now that Adire Audio also brought back the Tempest (basically the same as the RE XXX), I'm definitely gonna pick up some of those!
Yeah, did several ~16 Hz 'sonotube' subs with them and a ServoDrive Contrabass wannabe using dual Shivas and their 15" PRs, all really awesome for the times.

w/o simming, the tumult is probably the only thing in their line up that might come close to an re xxx.
I still have a couple of their DPL 12's. I think that was their designation. Open baffle type woofer.
