This is my first real speaker kit that i'm in the middle of making, i did an active EQ'd Shiva in a 5 cu foot ported enclosure (reference design).
Just finished cutting the MDF for my cabinents. now looking at some peoples construction pictures i saw that they cut the holes in the baffle after assembling the boxes (maybe they were trimming veneer?) any way i would assume it would bne easier to cut the driver cutouts before assembling the box. Also should i use a jigsaw or a router to cut the driver cutouts (used router on shiva with a home made jig) thanks a lot.

Hi there,
If you would like to cut the nice holes before assembly you should get a 210 metric jig for $50.This is the web site(www.jasperaudio.com)or call (877)229-7285
Good luck,
