Adding potentiometer to this AMP?

Hi! So, I am a complete noob on audio. I am a woodworker building a bluetooth speaker and I have a bluetooth amplifier shown in the image below and I would like to add a potentiometer for controlling the volume, mainly for the design of the speaker. I am wondering if I can switch out the buttons on the amp controlling volume and replace it with a potentiometer?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: you can swap them with a rotative encoder i guess, but i don't know exactly how to do. But it is possible and the only way you can achieve your goal.

I don't understand why you want to use a pot instead of the two buttons?

You want a rotary momentary action SPDT switch I think, the push buttons probably ground to activate two logic inputs. I only seem to find big industrial switches of this type, but if you find one that's more hifi appearance that could replace the buttons and look right.
