More and more modern receivers & processors are doing away with multi channel analog inputs. I wanted opinions on best way to add those inputs. Would after digital analog converter be best place on each channel? What would be best wire to use? Would it need attenuation? Source unit would be multi channel Blu ray or Dvd player. I had planned on doing this and using either relay externally powered or simple switches to engage circuit.
I figured someone would have answered by now. This is a needed mod on many newer processors & receivers. Yamahas whole line is like this now even the flagship processor do not have multi channel ins. This prevents putting a high quality multi channel such as oppo or better pioneer in the chain to get best results. Anyone? Did I list in wrong category-I didn't see a processor category so I listed here since technically a analog product.
