I await the arrival of my XLS 12 inch driver/PR pair from Madisound. My project involves a 1.3 cu. ft. box and tuning of the PR with 600g total. The PR is a 425g unit. So I need to add 175 g to the PR. I know the PR has a 5M threaded rod for adding weight but I'm not sure the best way to add weight (as accurately as possible). I can of course use washers and a nut. But I don't have a gram scale. I have a kitchen scale that shows tenths of an ounce but I don't know how accurate it really is.
Any known weights of commercially available washers (e.g. 1/4 inch from Home Depot)? Or the weight of a penny or something similar?
