Adcom GTP-450 - Right Channel Fades Out

Hi. Hoping to get some direction on this issue:

1. Fade out is evident in speaker and headphones.
2. It is not coming from the CD player
3. It is not coming from the amp.
4. It is not coming from any of the cables.
5. I sprayed some De-Oxit on a plug and tried to clean the headphone jack, thinking that this could be somehow involved.
6. Faded out channel is missing regardless of source button (CD, Tuner).
7. When it happens, it happens after a 45+ minute or so listening session.....not always the same amount of time....but it's never 15 or 20 minutes.
8. When allowing a cool off period, the channel comes back and seems completely normal when switched on again.

Any ideas?

Update:

I let the unit run for more than 2.5 hours (just by random chance, I placed the unit so it was sitting on its side) and the right channel did NOT fade out.
