I have just purchased an Adcom GFP-555 preamp and after reading a lot of info, I have learned that AudioXpress has done an article on this amp in September 2006. I'm looking for a propper place to download it. Not the terrible click-everywhere-and-end-up-everywhere sites with flashing adds all over the place. Or could someone send me a pm with detailed info?
Or if all is not possible, can you guide me into the improvement directions?
My plans are:
1. replace all caps
2. Replace opamps to newer ones
3. Remove headphone amp to save power for the rest
4. Possibly improve power supply with torodial
5. Build the volume control remote controlled, with IR lens in headphone jack plug hole.
Anything else?
