i don't understand the VA of its transformer

In fact, as I thought it is 700VA.
on a website of a guy who refreshed and changed some components on the Adcom GFA555MkII, saw 1500va
but it is impossible, on service manual say 700va, so he was wrong : not 1500VA but 700VA
with a transformer 1500va the adcom should weigh twice.

The bigger you go, the better it will sound.

The point of diminishing returns is about 1500VA or so.

my question was just focused on the fact that the transformer of the adcom 555MkII is officially 700VA not 1500VA as written on that site.
