Adcom GFA535..Bad Transformer?

When you feel like really 'gettin' on the volume...it's hard to beat an Adcom. They really do crank it up pretty good..even the 555 sounds pretty good at high levels.

The 555ii actually clips at 300 watts into 8 ohms and thus plays pretty loud and seems powerful in the bass. It is conservatively rated.

I have always liked the Adcom stuff. Another Amp i like is Parasound OR Denon.
