Where to take it for quality repairs ?
Nothing really wrong with it but its like 10 years old and there must at least be some maintenance right ?

Of course there are mods for your amp...This is DIY do a search for mods to your amp and get your soldering iron hot...Oh Yeah be careful there are potentialy deadly voltages in your amp study the schematic read the threads and ask questions.

Thanks, i tried the search for Adcom mods and could not find much.
With my poor eyesight and clumsy hands im not sure if i trust myself soldering with much detail.
Any such information on the subject would be appreciated, I,m trying to get more detail and less grain out of my Klipsch LaScala.
The crossovers have been updated recently and i cleaned the selector switch on my Adcom preamp today, the speakers were cutting out and so far it seems to do the trick.

I'm hesitant to mention mods made to a meager GCA 510. Replacing the single bridge with dual bridge rectifiers improved it quite a bit.

I;m new to this forum and wonder if someone can post or send a photo of where the r-51 and 52 emiter resisters are located so I can set the bias on my adcom gfa-5500 I have the schematic but cant locate the resisters where they are supposed to be...Thanks very much, Roger
