Adcom GFA-545 toroidal power transformer

I recently bought on Ebay US a GFA-545 and had it shipped in Italy where I live. Unfortunately the amp is a model equipped with a one only 120V primary winding toroid power transformer. That means it's suitable just for US mains 120V 60Hz and I cannot connect it directly to the mains here being 230V 50Hz.:headbash:
I know Adcom built also GFA-545s equipped with multi tap 120-220-240V primary winding toroidal power transformer.😉

I am searching for a multi tap toroid to replace the existing one voltage type.

The part numbers are: 1009A01 for the 120V and 1009G01 for the 120-220-240V.

There is somebody having a suitable multi-voltage transformer perhaps saved from a died amplifier?
I can give in exchange my 120V model.

As alternate way, I can sell the one voltage transformer I have and try to have a new one built here.

The technical characteristics of this transformere are:
- Toroidal encapsulated and fully mu-metal pot enclosure shielded
- Adcom part N° 022T-1009A01
- Power about 500VA
- 120V / 40-0-40V 6A (no-charge voltages giving about +/- 55Vdc rectified voltage idle state)
- Dimensions: outside diameter 105 mm. (4.133") height 80 mm. (3.15")

Searching a similar 1009G01 model 120-220-240V / 40-0-40V to buy!

Thank you.

possible trade

I may be interested in a trade. I have two unused Antek AN-3440's. They are only rated at 300VA, but have the dual 115V primaries, and dual 40V secondaries you are looking for. It's also got an 18V and a 12V secondary winding. It's also not shielded. It's just like the AN-5440 but only 300VA. It's 120mm diameter, 70mm tall. Even if you were interested in a trade, I suspect shipping would be as much as the value of the transformers. It sounds like you want the Antek AN-5440 for $57.00. But send me a PM if interested. It sounds like yours is a "better" transformer because of higher power and shielding, so I may pay for shipping if it's reasonable.
