Are you using a line driver on yours or direct from the deck? Also, which deck are you using? I have the 5450 and will be installing it with my kenwood deck that supposedly has 5v rca output. I know decks have come a LONG way since these amps were built, but even when just testing indoors with my other amps (ppi) there is a huge difference in output using the same audio source. I'm not sure my kenwood deck will drive them to full output and I'm trying to avoid using line drivers and adding noise and distortion.
