adcom 555 2 problem

Hi i just rebuilt a adcom 555 2 with brand new input board form Hoppes Brain all new parts, problem is I've got 84mV dc at the outputs,? all new transistors except the Toshiba power transistors. any suggestions

Millivolts or Volts? 84V would mean totally stuck to the rail. You could have a bad output transistor(s), test them for shorts. Also could be the driver transistors, either the TO-126 types or TO-3P's on the output modules.

Also make sure you don't have any solder bridges on the input board, or random metal debris.

I hope you took Hoppes Brain,s advice (second line in Features ) and made sure the input stage active devices are matched for gain ?
