hi everyone
i have a audionote zero dac that like all the audionote dacs use the ad1865n dac.
ive read that the best of this type is the nk version.
is there any real performance advantage to be had if i yanked the n version out and put in a nk type or is it one of those anal things well its just better on the spec sheet rather then where it counts in the real world to our ears?
if so what can be expected sound quality wise using this version over the n version,if there is a performance hike im stunned that audio-note still use the n version in there top of the range dac and never went with the nk version...hence my doubts regarding better performance.
anyone done any real world comparisions performance wise,if so i would be grateful of your take on it.
many thanks
smithie
