I'm searching for the schematic of a ad1865-based dac from Yuri Gelgor. This dac used a 6H30 tube and two Sowter transformers in the output stage. It seems that the related web pages are no longer available. Could anyone help me?

What's your opinion about that balanced output stage and how does it compare to a SRPP? Is that schema suitable for use with a ES9018 chip?

I will do a copy of the schematics which is a different version of the 6H30 PP. I think the version of the current web site does not work due to supply voltage of the tube ( -170, + 170v). The last version shows resistor to cathode and +95v as power supply of the 6H30 thu thransformer.

In that "retro dac" I do not understand well the anode power supply circuit. Isn't that 15K cathode resistor too high?
I've also found another version of this circuit with a more traditional +90V anode supply and a 2k2 cathode resistor (which, again, seems too high).

DAC AD1865 with 6H30 PP from Yury
here is what I found on the Geocities WEB site few months ago.
6H30 PP is polarised with resistor ( 2.2K in the component list). Power supply is 95v. Based on the 6H30 curves I believe that might be around 20 or 30mA in each triode : so the cathode resistor might be around 200 ohms which will provide around 4 to 5 v as -Vg.
I ordered the sowter transformer ! I will try the schematics as soon as I'll receive it from UK. Keep you posted if you are interested. Any advice is welcome.

Having not build this circuit I cannot possibly comment, sorry.
ESS declines to make any useful technical information on their DAC's available publicly.
Any Datasheets given out are subject to extremely draconian NDA's and so I do not have any (or if I did I could not admit so in Public).
But as the ESS Chips are very different to the AD Chips used in the design by Yuri, it stands to reason that Yuri's design will work very well with the AD1865, but probably not at all well with the ESS DAC.
That is unless substantial changes are made, which would require knowledge about the workings of the ESS DAC which ESS declines to make available to the general public.
