Hi Thomas,I have replaced the standard Opamps my KR P150 now also with LM4562NA. The result is so, as described by friends.Do have recommendations for further improvement
In short - ad846 is very hard to replace. This is a unique set of characteristics for the chip. Try to find the chip.
maybe through a discrete version - observe last postings from this thread:In short - ad846 is very hard to replace. This is a unique set of characteristics for the chip. Try to find the chip.

For the AD811 I miss the internal diagram - thus it is hard to believe for me, that this type is a replacement for all applications. The same is for the LME49713. The term "current feedback" means not automatically the same internal circuit.According to Analog this is a direct replacement:

Here's another excellent sounding chip!
Though it is a dual, it sounds great when properly 'tamed'! Otherwise, it can be a wild one! Use a 'scope when deploying this filly!

@Romcat
Yes, try the LME49720HA (metal can). I can't explain but it sounds so much better than the plastic version.
in the meantime there are various replacements, even from the internal schematics. Go to post #5 underIn short - ad846 is very hard to replace. This is a unique set of characteristics for the chip. Try to find the chip.
