Active subwoofers

Hi guys,
I am thinking to upgrade my PA system with 2 subwoofers.
I have 2 options:

1. JBL PRX818XLF
2. DB Technologies SUB 18H

My main Speakers are JBL PRX 715.

The PRX are new and the 18H was used for store demonstration so the price is about the same (the 18H is a bit higher)..

what do you think?

Electrically the JBLs will better match your tops. these two boxes are designed to work together.

I see the same thing with my powered speakers, I can and have used Yamaha DXR tops with EV EKX subs but the system sounds tighter with EKX tops.

The frequency range of the prx is 30-103 Hz and the 18H had 28-150 Hz.
the crossover of the prx is 80Hz and the 18H has 2 options 90Hz and 120Hz.
The woofer of the 18H is with angle to the floor ant the one of the prx is straight.
All the other paramaters are the same, but what about the sound?

You'll not be able to reproduce 30 Hz with a high spl on either of these. Note that neither manufacturer states how far these frequencies are below the average level. Some use -8dB, a lot got the low frequency range with -10dB but there are also some who claim xx Hz but at a drop of 20dB!

The 18H is likely a hornreflex or something like that.

From the construction of the 18H you can assume it got a bit more punch in the middle to upper bass.
