hi can anyone help me with repairing my input board on my active powered sub woofer i have two with a very similar fault also i have the schematic if anyone needs for reference i have managed to get both the power amps working by replacing the output transistors several blown diodes and some heavy ceramic 5 watt resistors but the input panel has a slight fault it has 7 ne5532an op amps and also functions as the crossover, im no expert by any means but i think the main fault lies in the last opamp just before it plugs into the amp module i get a half clean half distorted type of sound when i patch an ipod into the xlr on the input module if i unplug the input module and inject signal (ipod again😀) into the main powerboard the second main amp board (about 600watt) its loud and clear as a bell i have no scope just a basic signal tracer speaker and multimeter any help would be much appreciated

Can you post a link to the schematic, or scan it?
Are you sure the op-amps are getting the correct supply voltage? Have you examined the input board carefully under good lighting (as well as backlighting) and a magnifier (strong drugstore reading glasses will do)? There could be cold solder joints, even hairline cracks.
