Active Sub - connecting to amp ?

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and have what is probably a very basic question for the experts on here. Hope you can help.

I'd like to add a sub I have spare to my stereo amp.
The sub is an active KEF Kube 1 with 2 x RCA signal inputs but no high level speaker terminal inputs or outputs.
My amp does not have a sub or RCA out sockets only inputs for a source.

Is there any way to connect the sub ?

Thanks

Go to Radio Shack.

Buy a pair of 1K 1/2W resistors, and a 100 ohm 1/2W resistor.

Tie one 1K to each of the L and R speaker hots, tie the other ends together and to one end of the 100 ohm, and hook the other end of the 100 ohm to one of the speaker grounds.

Take an RCA cable and hook the center conductor to the junction of the two 1K and the 100 ohm, and the shield to the other speaker ground.

The junction of the three resistors and the center conductor of the RCA cable should be soldered, I would wrap a small piece of wire around all four conductors to hold things together while soldering, then wrap a piece of tape around this junction. You shouldn't need a box if you're neat about it.
