Hello,
I’m selling a pair of active speakers originally built by Pat McGinty of Meadowlark Audio. I used these with a Wiim Pro streamer via various music services (Pandora, Qobuz and the like). They originally had Minidsp Power Ice plate amps but I upgraded the amps to Hypex FA122’s. These are a really convenient way to utilize any music service. If you’re interested in learning about active speakers these are a affordable solution.
There are some minor scratches but the drivers are excellent. Please see the pictures and if you have any questions just pm me.
Price $1600 plus shipping
Included with the speakers is a pair of custom covers, a coax to aes adapter and a 25’ aes cable and a power cord for each speaker.
I’m located in Northern California at 95453
Thanks

Looking to move these along
Reasonable offers?
Excellent condition with upgraded amps. Going from minidsp plate amps to Hypex. Really nice in a smaller room at moderate listening levels. A bedroom perhaps?
Let’s make a deal

I have just reduced the asking price to $1500. Purchased new by the original buyer these speakers sold for over $4000. When one of the minidsp plate amps failed I sent the amps to the original builder to see if they could be fixed. He too was unable to find the problem and recommended replacement. He recommended Hypex as he too had been having some problems with Minidsp. As you may know Hypex has emerged as a leader in plate amp design and is more active in continuing to improve their products. Since I made the change the speakers have performed flawlessly. There have been no issues whatsoever. The great thing about active speakers is how they can be adapted to your listening room. Please let me know if you have any further questions
