Active filter board GB

Since the PSU layout now uses the same size output caps as the filter boards' inputs, why not buy them all together?

Panasonic FC 470 uf/25V 10 mm dia x 5 mm spacing 10 for $2.80

And since everyone always needs 100 nf bypass caps:

Epcos 100 nf MKT 63V 2.5mm x 7.5 mm 10 for $1.00

Filter Design Spreadsheet

The Manual is still receiving its finishing touches, but this spreadsheet should get you started.

Constructive comments requested. I am not good enough with Excel to offer pull down capacitor choices, but I listed standard values in the comments on each capacitor entry cell.

1. What is the part# for supply connector on the PC (2pl) digi part?
2. What series pot for 1 turn(2pl) digi part?
3. What is grounding scheme for multi filters with 2 ind VRegs and in/out connections
Thanks

Very happy with the quality double sided boards!!!
Thanks Jens and Bob for making this happen.
kudos

1. Use wires soldered to the board. Extra pads provided to daisy chain additional boards

2. for P1 and P2, I will use Bourns 3296Y1-203LF, Mouser P/N 652-3296Y-1-203LF @ $2.20 ea. or Digikey P/N 3296Y-203-ND @ $2.50 ea. Others in the same body size will work, if you more readily available. This same pot works in the PSU board if you want to get your quantity up for the price break. (Coupled with 10K for R11 and R13 will allow 12V operation)

3. The usual star ground should be acceptable.

I expect you guys will even do house calls to solder the boards for us.

Depends on what's for dinner. 😉

All pass filter

I have a hybrid speaker - 10" bass driver, and electrostatic dipole for mid+high.

I measured the offset between dipole and woofer voice coil and the woofer is some 7 cm in front of the dipol,
Is it OK to use the All pass filter after the low pass filters in such a case? 🙄

Thanks,
Avi

Actually, I was planning something like that for the next project - a remote triggerable/momentary switch/signal activated relay control board that can be used for mute delay, soft start and controlling speaker relays too. Can you tell that I like flexible products?

Apexjr has a bunch of relays and switches for all of the above at great prices....
