I want to build an active crossover to go between a dayton rs hifi sub and an altec model 288c horn speaker at 500 hz.
I will also have to attenuate the horn from the 115db efficiency to the 89db of the woofer. I suppose a higher order crossover would be best because of the differences of the two speakers. An active crossover needs to be powered, how do i know what voltage to supply?
Thanks

Check also www.ti.com and www.analog.com which have online tools. Check also Walt Jung's book about opamps whoch can be downloaded from www.analog.com In the book you have a chapter about active filters.
