I'm interested in building active x-overs for my Magnepan MG2.5's. Unfortunately, I don't have the owners manual and don't know the factory crossover frequecies, slopes, etc.
Can anyone assist me with this information? Or, has anyone done this project, already?
Thanks.
Rick

Your welcome ,yes thats what I gather.
It can be verified by the component values and measuring the resistance values on the speakers voice coils since they are not listed in the schematic. jer

Here's where I found information about improving Magnepans'
performance (crossover circuits, et al):
MUG Tweaks
And here's the Planar Speaker Asylum section of the Audio
Asylum discussion boards website(Magnepan Users Group, aka
MUG, section, I'm guessing) :

I just purchased a set of factory rebuilt MG2.5R's and will be doing upgrades along the way. I was first thinking of rebuilding the internal cross overs with upgraded parts among other mods. Let me know what you find out?
