Hi,
has anyone come across anything like this?
It weighs in at 20 lbs and the finned cover and frame are alum.
I have a pair but a cone on one has been kicked around and has some creases.
Thanks

They are produced in Surabaya, Indonesia by Sinar Bajar the parent company of SB Acoustics.
If SB quality is anything to go by they are probably not too bad.

Thanks, but these drivers have some age, probably made before the rush to exploit offshore labour. They do have "Swiss" embossed on them.
I did check the official website and the speakers featured look nothing like these.
I have, since my original posting, found there is an ACR/Fostex connection.

I think way back in time ACR were the Fostex importer for Europe.
Not 100% sure about this but back then every shop that sold the one would also sell the other. I once bought a pair of Fostex FP253s from the local ACR shop.
