acoustic guitar amplification

Hi all.
I recently bought an AER compact 60 amp.
It is a very nice unit .but seems to lack low end.
I would Like to build a small sub for this amp.
My requirements would be around 100 watts
10 inch driver with a freq response between
60 and 240 hz..I know more of a low mid woofer..
I would ideally want this in a 1.5 cu ft enclosure.
This is like an acoustic guitar stack.
I need sources for crossovers plate amps and the speaker

Any help ideas??
Thx

Take the Amp back if it's not what you want. This might save you a lot of work and expense. you may not get the "right" sound with all the mods you mention.

Either that or use a tone peddle/parametric EQ or just the tone "stack" in your amp That involves changing a few resistors and caps and should give you more bottom end.

What size is the speaker in your amp? The speaker in a well designed amp should be able to deliver a wide frequency response, especially one designed for acoustic guitar.

Sorry I havn't answered your question, but I think you may be better with an amp your happy with, rather than trying to retrofit a seperate cab.

Andy.
