Acoustat model 3 no bass

Yeah I have all types of systems and they all are fun in their own way. I had been building one a month for a while ( lots of free time)

Same here.... time to play....you got the esl bug now....here in the south...were the humidity is high 340 days a year.....it a lov-hate esl deal.....if your were the humidity is 50% are lower....you got it made....to bad you got off to a ruff start....Acoustat are hard to kill.. but there getting old.....less run on low bias...are clipping SS amps...then it well can eat trans....parts....
what other speakers are you likeing today?....
I was in the Audio biz in the 1980-90s
Krell, Pass, Mcintosh,B&W linn Magnepans klipsch...you name it....now it just speaker wise....Magnepans-ribbons an Esls.......panels Can.. give so much more...if you have the room...
I have be playing with some Dynaudio BM5a.... vary planel like sound...well for a box
I have been running two 12" power bass boxes...some say subs....for about 10years...
makes my life so ezey ......I can just put any speaker in my room..an get good sound
Boxes only play 60-80hz....manes run full rang.....ezey to blend...
one box...is like one ear..not so good.... it well works but......
Spotify.....run into a Krell d/a...tube preamp...
it works well....I have old Arcam alpha 9 hdcd player transport.....never use anymore
