Acoustat 2MH not working for first time in 33 years

I bought a pair of Acoustat model 2MH speakers in 1983 and they have been rock solid. Now one of them is suddenly producing no sound at all. It has been continuously plugged into a power outlet, so it should be charged up. The same feed that produces sound in the other speaker does nothing plugged into this speaker. It worked fine a few days ago. I have checked the audio fuse and also the internal bias fuses. They all look fine. Any ideas?

Being a hybrid system, if you are getting no sound at all, from either ESL or woofer, then it must be something common to both woofer and ESL. This points to the audio input fuse. How did you check it? Slow-blow fuses can be hard to check visually, so I suggest checking it with an ohmmeter or continuity tester, or simply replacing it with a new fuse.

If it's not the fuse itself, you might look at the fuseholder for corrosion or a broken connection. I can't think of anything else that would be common to both woofer and ESL.
