Have covered most of the engineering. There are still some upgrades I want to make to it, will be something special 🙂

For $550 I might take the plunge. Cheaper than some clocks I know of 🙂
TBAIs there a working prototype? If so, how does it sound?

Not sure of what others have done but these from ESS eval boards as measured by an APx machine - the industry standard instrument…re:THD comparisons Q2M vs PROMember Bohrok2610 stated the same backed up by measurements. The Q2M was better than the Pro.

Thanks for pointing towards the relevant post.Wired connections for Multichannel, Stereo and Mono. Channel outputs are combined for stereo and mono for increased DNR
Incase, I opt for stereo configuration, can it be switched to multi channel later on or I need to order another board for multi channel?
Acko, do you still have your Ravenna board? I'd like to be able to hook up 16 channels somehow.
Each Ravenna board is 8ch only. Maybe two boards to give up to 16ch but not sure sync of the channels on separate boards
Yes, you can share a common clock with two boards to get a 16ch version but these need to in the same box to keep clock connections short. I will detail more in the support later …
Did you round down the asking price or are you negotiating? 😉For $550 I might take the plunge. Cheaper than some clocks I know of 🙂

Yes, the limitation or complexities for >8 channels sync will be the audio/IF side and not the DAC itself. I don’t know if there are any 16ch USB-I2S devices out there?Ahh, yes, it may need an Anubis plus a PTP switch.
