This may mean up to $10.000 in the U.S.

Should be good, but I would lean towards XTA DP226 see which retails $3.995 and you can find used ones in mint condition for $2.000. It is the top sounding and most advanced speaker management system. Dont be surprised if it outperforms the Accuphase. Also its pc software is great. You can download it and play offline so to have an idea from here In the picture I post you can see an example of using the parametrics. There are delays and limiters and everything really.

They are not tested in the field yet. It is true they show much additional processing power and a 6dB dynamic range improvement. They boast extensive graphic EQ, 4 inputs, 48dB filters, matrix etc. Iwould doubt that XTA could negotiate their quality at all since they are the most accepted company in the most serious installations and studios. DP226 made them a fortune and they state themeselves they continue from there. Since 4 series is a little more expensive it is economically sane they are not suspicious of quality reductions. Looks they just got advantage of nowdays even more processing power.
I would go for them as for their flexibility benefits for a P.A. purpose for sure. But I could not find second hand mint units for the next couple of years.
In any case I think that you have seen that with the Accuphase you cant even shape the curves when the XTAs can even prepare coffee and serve it to you. And without parametrics you dont have a loudspeaker management system, you have a limited textbook crossover that no transducer cares for in the real world.
To me the choice is clear.
