ACA PCB Layout Question

I have just began to study the Article for ACA Amp.
I found that in PCB layout, the trim pot P1 is direct connected to the Output Cap. (+) instead of to R3,R4 & C2 ?

That makes no difference here. The circuit works perfectly either way.

Schematic error, but you will see that it's essentially the same,
separated by .68 ohms. It's just there for DC bias.
