This might have been addressed in another post . . . If yes, perhaps you wise guys can point me to it. If no, advice will be appreciated.
The stereo pair of speakers will be driven by NAD 3020s (bi-amped -- one amp at each channel, running to separate tweet and woof X-overs).
In front of the 3020s is an OPPO universal player, going to Left & Right amps with a custom "Y" interconnect.
That's it : a variety of digital media sources for the OPPO front end, and a pair of 30 watt per channel amps -- 120 watts total for stereo.
SO I DO NOT NEED A "LARGE AND IN CHARGE" RFI / EMI grunge reduction treatment. Budget for the filter strip / bank (just 4 outlets is plenty) would be about $400.00 maximum.
If DIYA members have such a bare-bones item in your system, a specific brand / model recommendation is solicited. If you have read highly positive reviews from a good source, that info is requested, too.
BTW, I know that such filters are buildable without a huge expense of time and money, but I want a "buy it and go" solution.

A 'bare-bones item' for $400? I expect 'bare-bones' to cost more like $4 (or £2.99 in the UK). A bit of filtering will increase the price, and then you add a 0 on the end if it is sold in an audio shop.

The 3020's won't care about mains noise so I would have a spike arrestor, (there's your $4 worth) sat across the supply if you have noisy mains but you probably won't need it.
Thanks muchly for the replies, DF96 & Jon. If I can ask two more questions (background given here) :
My mains are probably noisy, being in a highly urbanized area (Arlington Virginia USA, just a hop from DC), sharing power with 7 other apartment dwellers in adjacent units, and a typical manifest of refrigerators, HVAC motors, computers, wall wart chargers, etcetera.
In my previous NON digital bi-amped config, until I put Corcom VR-20s in front of each one, music without fatigue was impossible from June to early October (air conditioning season). Not audible hum -- but the subtle intermodulatory grunge & hash many of us encounter, know well, and despise.
So, given that prior experience --
1. Would you both still say I can get along fine with just a spike arrestor ?
2. If "yes", can you suggest a product source, brand, value, voltage rating ?
Best regards,
Me
