About the TAS1020APFB in the M-Audio Transit.

Hello

About the TAS1020APFB

I would like to use a 6 mhz low jitter crystal oscillator module with the TAS1020APFB in the M-Audio Transit.

There's a lot of 12 mhz crystal oscillator module on the web but no 6 mhz type.

Any source for a 6 mhz type ?

Reading the datasheet, it seem that only a 6 mhz type can be use, could a 12 mhz type would work ?

Any hints or solutions ?

Thank

Bye

Gaetan

Changing the crystal frequency is NOT as straight forward as changing normal passive components,as you need to reprogram the software/firmware to work under different clock frequency.

Since you mentioned that particular low jitter clock hard to get,you can try some clock divider method to work with a higher frequency clock source.
