Anybody who has a clue about my problem?
iMac 24", Mac OSX 10.4.9, Netgear ADSL Wireless Router DG834G. Since a couple of days back I can't get anything that has to do with webhotel, not a single site from this webhotel. If I switch to a ADSL modem Zyxel it works but not from my Netgear modem-router. I have made "reset to factory settings", also upgraded firmware. Since it works with an another ADSL modem, what can have happened to my Netgear box?

The problem is that one of my IP numbers I'll get is blocked.... Just checked, some dude from Taiwan has accessed my homepage 30000 times in a short time.
Either a DoS attack or port scan.
Use APNIC to find the ISP or netblock owner and drop them an email with your logs. I've had good luck at getting buggers like that shut down 😉

How come my IP number is blocked when my Mac was shut off this day? Can you use false IP numbers?
My ISP is a bit special. If my ISP detects the same Mac(!) number I they try to give me the same IP number if it's free. If I change from my wireless Netgear box to an ugly Zyxel ADSL modem I'll get a different IP number so as long as my webhotel manager removes the blocking I can't use my wireless thing 😡 to acessing my domain.
