Yesh but I doubt it's getting finished in his life time.
Where are you??? I miss your interaction!!! 😀😀😀😀

Very nice Stefano!
Patience and time equals quality results!

Thank you.
Excellence Stefano!
Any comments on power supply design and capacitor choice?
What would you like me in specific to comment? This is a broad subject 🙂
Wondering about your set-up, dual mono, a bridge per rail, CRC CLC ? Number of caps and their values, cap banks in power supply's and amplifiers? Transformer VA. Whatever you would like to tell.
Thanks

I will try to answer to your questions:
1) It is fully dual mono.
2) One bridge per rail with lots of low loss high speed diodes
3) no CRC nor CLC, pure capacitive with high capacitance
4) I like a combination of high value caps with smaller values and very fine values to provide uniform filtering at different frequencies and also provides best sound balance. I have about 550,000uF of big capacitance and then another 100,000uF roughly in smaller capacitance located on specific spots (per channel)
5) Capacitance is spread between the supply and the amplifier unit
6) transformers is a very relative subject as it strongly depends on the design parameters. The total power used is roughly 3KW per channel but the transformer is capable of much more than that with a very quiet operation.
Hope this answers your questions and thanks for your interest.
