A single voltage regulator is enough to parallel?

Hi,

Currently i am designing an I2S output, upsampling and dac in a small box. But i have some some question regarding to the voltage regulator.

suppose i am using a single LP2985AIM5-3.3 from Vusb, is it possible to parallel the PCM2707, SRC4192(upsampling) and finally a dac together to the reg out?

I have tried to read some schematics out there, one of them is from AMB gamma 2, which he use inductors to separates it to feed few pins which they are equally demand the same voltage (3.3v). Why is it and is it a must?😱
