hi,
i trying to replace the clock of a Quad CDP-99 2 for a friend.
the clock-module i have here, provides 2,6V at 12Mhz.
than i measured the voltage direct between the two poles at the quartz in the Quad-player: it is 0,5V (!)
as far as i know, all the modules for replacement provide ~2,5 - 5V..
so is this player a special case, or have i measured something wrong..?
i have found a picture of it.. on the very left side is the quartz.

thanks, br,
