A 150H plate choke, 2uF output cap, two NiCds in the cathode, 150v DC from a choke input filter, 150k grid leak, 100ohm gridstopper. Partcount is lower than a gainclone 🙂

There are a few circuits for the 5687. Here is one I built using Magnaquest B7 transformers. It sounds excellent.
