heya bud thought u stole one of my ideas there for a min but now u have shown more u didnt lol anyway great job! and as for the plexi it takes alot for that stuff too melt so i think the heat sheild u made isnt realy that nesasary, but what i would worry about is poisonous fumes from the fiber glass and the fire harard on that stuff catching fire! lol great job anyway bud cant wait to see the final resalts both the unit and screen shots.

Wow, quite the project! And you've done an excellent job photo-documenting your processes -- my hats off to your design expertise. Mine isn't going to be anywhere near so innovative with materials, but hopefully it'll work as well as any of other successful DIY's.
