A question for BASH 300 users..

So i've had a Bash 300 amp from CSS sitting around for probably a couple years, can't remember exactly how long. I've hooked it up occasionally to a few various woofers and subs but now i'm finally making a sub with an SDX10 and heres my issue. Right now it's playing quietly and the sub is just sitting in free air on the ground. However, to get any perceivable sound i have to have the level knob on the BASH turned ALL the way up. Is there something wrong with the amp? I am wondering how far other BASH 300 users have to set the level to get a good musical blend?

I seem to recall that when i bought the amp, i didn't have to go very much past 1/3 to get extremely loud results but i could be imagining things :h_ache: I tried a different rca cable, a different driver and still the same thing. My dac puts out 2.25 volts at 700-800 ohms (kinda high i know) into a passive preamp which is splitting the signal to the sub amp and mains amp. Maybe that's the issue. Any thoughts?
